Nature In Motion

Are you thinking of growing vegetables? You can give yourself a try and start experimenting with the cabbage. Nowadays, it is very easy and convenient to buy the cabbage seeds. You can buy them from the supermarket or the fertilizer store. Nowadays the cabbage seeds are heat-resistant, meaning that it can grow well in our hot and wet weather. It is advisable to grow them in recycled 10-kg plastic rice bags. Fill the bag with fertile soil, half a bag is enough to grow one cabbage. Since it is grown in a bag, it is easy for you to move it around to avoid the pests and even to a more shady place when the afternoon sun is too unbearable.

Another picture that shows more clearly the plastic bag used in growing the cabbage. Next time when you buy the 10-kg rice, keep the bags and use them for growing vegetables.

My bougainvillae in full bloom and there are more flowers than leaves. What a pleasing sight to add to the Christmas joy this year.  The bloom can last a few days before they finally wither and then trim the branches and remove the unhealthy ones so that the plant stays healthy and continues to bloom to add colour to your home and garden.

I can hardly believe that I have succeeded in growing a red lady finger. It is growing very well. There are more fingers coming out from the stem.

Another picture of the red lady finger.

You can buy the seeds that are packed as shown in the picture in the supermarket. If you are interested you can contact email: gardening@serbajadi.com.my or tel. 03-62750778 to get more information. Start your Okra Red project now in your garden.
