The bougainvillea plant that the pictures show is grown in a big pot placed at the front iron grille fence of my house. I purposely place it that way so as to act as a thorning barrier against any intruder into my home. The thorny branches are enough to put any nasty people away. Cats and dogs also avoid them. Well then it is necessary to keep the plant neatly and nicely trimmed to look in good shape and a beauty to our eyes.
